Based in Jensen Beach, Florida, Captain Calvin carries on a family fishing tradition spanning three generations. He grew up bass fishing the lakes and ponds of Central Florida, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, who built their careers in the fishing and hunting industry out of Cape Canaveral.

Calvin earned his degree in business management from Florida Atlantic University, where he also competed for four years on the university’s Division I swim team. After college, he worked in the tackle industry before training under Captain Chris White in the Florida Keys and Stuart, spending years developing his skills and refining his approach to targeting sailfish.

Today, Calvin shares his experience and love of Florida’s waters through Big Fin Energy. Whether you’re an experienced angler or heading out on your first fishing trip, his goal is to create a welcoming, memorable day on the water. Every trip is an opportunity to share practical knowledge, connect with the outdoors, and inspire an appreciation for the fisheries and natural habitats that make the Treasure Coast so special.
