Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: 09/17/2025

At Big Fin Energy LLC, we understand that plans can change. We strive to provide a fair and transparent refund policy for all our guests. Please read the following terms carefully before booking your charter.

Booking & Deposit

A deposit of 15% is required to confirm and hold your charter reservation.
The remaining balance is due on the day of the trip.

Customer Cancellations

Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the scheduled trip will receive a full refund of the deposit or any payments made.
Cancellations made between 3 and 6 days prior to the trip will receive a 50% refund of the deposit or payment.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled departure are non-refundable.
No-shows or failure to arrive on time will result in forfeiture of all payments and no refund will be issued.

Cancellations by Big Fin Energy LLC

We reserve the right to cancel a trip for any reason, including but not limited to:

Unsafe weather or sea conditions
Mechanical issues
Crew availability or illness

In the event we cancel your trip:

You may choose to reschedule at no additional charge, or
Receive a full refund of any deposits or payments made.

Weather Policy

The captain will make the final decision regarding weather and safety.
Trips will only be canceled for unsafe conditions, not for light rain or unfavorable forecasts.
If a trip is shortened due to weather after departure, partial refunds may be considered at the discretion of the captain.

Late Arrivals

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure. If you are late, your trip duration may be shortened, and no refund will be given for lost time. Trips will not be extended due to late arrivals.
